Read the fit, not the title you want
If the posting wants a roadmap owner and your record is implementations, the note will fail. Save the posting. Look at fit against work you actually shipped.
Pick alumni or people on that real team
Product ops, not a Senior PM you cannot defend. Alumni help. Paste their LinkedIn URL into Puvio if you have a name without a job card.

People who do the job can smell a title you have not held. They do not need a recruiter to tell them. The first sentence either names work they can check, or it names a costume. Costumes get archived.
Nadia Rahman was a Customer Success Lead at Klaviyo. She spent six weeks applying to Senior PM postings. The portal bounced her on title. Four parts. Shared context in one line. Work they can verify in one line. One question you cannot Google. Fifteen minutes, with an easy out. No résumé attached. No "I would love to pick your brain." No invented Senior PM story.
The question has to be about their team, not your feelings about a career change. How they staff implementations. How product ops sits next to PM. What a good first ninety days looks like on that team. If Google already answers it, they will not spend the call teaching you the Wikipedia page.
After they reply, send the packet they ask for. Apply when they expect your name. Do not convert a yes-to-chat into a hire-me dump in the same thread.
Upload the résumé you have, not the one you wish you had. Save postings. Close the ones with weak fit instead of writing a novel to hide them. Paste a LinkedIn profile URL for a draft. Critic pass. You send it. Ten credits. No job card required.
