Puvio
This Privacy Policy describes how Puvio ("Puvio," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you access or use our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
Each section includes a plain-English summary. The legal text on the right is the binding version.
For a plain-language overview of how we protect your career data, see our Trust Center.
We collect information you provide directly, including account registration details (such as email address), résumé and profile content, job applications and related notes, wins and career logs, outreach drafts, and communications with support. We also collect usage data necessary to operate the Service, including credit balance, feature usage, and technical logs (e.g., device type, browser, IP address, timestamps).
We use collected information to provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including generating match scores, company research, contact suggestions, polished wins, and exportable documents for your account. We may use aggregated or de-identified data to improve reliability and performance. We do not use your personal content for third-party advertising.
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers who process data on our behalf under contractual obligations consistent with this Policy, when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security. We do not share résumé or win content with recruiters or data brokers for their independent use.
We use third-party AI services to power certain features. Your private résumé, wins, and drafts are processed to deliver results for your account. We do not permit use of your personal content to train OpenAI, Anthropic, or other third-party foundation models unless you provide separate, explicit consent.
Puvio does not request your LinkedIn password. We do not post messages, view profiles, or take actions on LinkedIn or other third-party platforms on your behalf without your explicit manual action within the Service.
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may export your data from Settings. You may request deletion of your account and associated data via Settings or by contacting privacy@puvio.app; we will delete or anonymize data from active systems within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. If you are a resident of California (CCPA/CPRA) or the European Union or United Kingdom (GDPR), you have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, opt out of sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information), restrict or object to certain processing, data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. California residents may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on their behalf. We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@puvio.app.
The Service is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated via email or in-product notice.
